Nowadays, the environment is changing under the influence of the anthropohenic factor much quicklier than it was in the previous centuries. Many global ecological changes with serious cequencies may take place in XXI century.
The consumption of energy, water and irreplaceable natural resources is increasing constantly and we may expect their exigency in many countries of the world, including Russia.
Russia and regions need labour resources able to understand the present-day problems, ready to solve the strained ecological situtation in the consupmtion of natural resources for the provision of the preservation of the environment, as well as ready to the changes in the period of market economy.
The Government of the autonomous region determines ecological policy and supports the development of the system of ecological education of the population. This policy provides the trainig of high-qualified ecologists. A special attention is paid to propagation of ecological knowledge for the population. A new tendency has appeared, such as the raising of the level of ecological knowledge of people and manufacturing with the help of mass media, the specialists working in libraries, museums and specially protected territories of the region. Active informing of population concernig the ecological topics helps to develop the social ecological consciousness and stimulates the willingness of every person to contribute to the preservation of the environment and social and economic development of the region, takin into account the efficient nature management.

The goals and tasks of the action:

• Forming of the public opinion defendeing the environment;
• Development and maintenance of the social priorities concernig the health and environment protection;
• Assistanse in the search for the ways to ecologisatrion of scientifical and educatrional politics of the autonomos region;
• Development and consolidation of contacs and mutual cooperation of the state nature mnagement organisations with the executive bodies of the autonomos region, institutions of education, culture, sport and tourism, as well as massmedia and professional staff;
• Consolidation of the activity of youth ecological organizations in the protection of the environment;
  

The topical block of the action:

1. «Ecological policy and power»: organization of conferences, meetings, seminars, round tables concernig the topic of ecology, topical radio and TV programs with the participation of executive and legislative bodies of the region and mass media for the propagation of the idea of sustainable development of the society and industry.

2. «Ecological culture and traditional nature management»: education of the population with the purpose of preservation of cultural and natural heritage on the basis of museums, ethnic visit-centres, libraries, cinema-centers, exhibition complexes by means of organization of exhibitions, parades and competitions and other kind of activity.

3. «Ecology and education»: attraction of youth to the organization of educative and research conferences, competition of ecological projects, mass public and ecological actions with the attraction of their parents and other people.

4. «Science and technics for the ecologisation of the industry»: organization of sympousiums, ecological scientific and technical exhibitions, presentations of nature-preserving technologies and equipment, scientific and educative literature; organization of masterclasses for rising the level of ecological qualification of the specialists in the mastering of present-day technologies etc.

5. «Business and ecology»: attraction of specialists to ecologisation of present-day market industry and social charitable activity concernig the provision of realisation of the idea of sustainable development of the society.

6. «Environmental and human health»: organization of TV and radio programs, actions, Gallup polls and practical measures for the study of the influence of ecological factors to the health of a human being.

7. «Public ecological organizations»: organizations of forums, ecological actions, meetings and other measures with the particpation of non-governmental ecological organizations, public associations, parties and religious confessions.
