The main purpose of the contests is consolidation of the efforts of RFBR and the subjects of the Russian Federation to support the research aimed at solution of the problems especially important for the regions.

mathematical models, databases, information systems, telecommunication technologies and geo-information technologies;
scientific basis of power, high-current and quantum radio electronics, microprocessor engineering;
scientific basis of creation of new materials, materials surface modification, coatication technologies;
scientific basis of genetic engineering, agriculture bio technologies;
geology, geophysics, complex analysis of natural resource potential of Tomskaya Oblast.

KHANTY-MANSIYSK AUTONOMOUS OKRUG:

information, computation and GIS technologies, computer networks, databases and telecommunications;
nature management and wild-life conservation;
space methods of ecological monitoring;
effective methods of mineral resources exploration and extraction;
problems of human and animal physiology, gene pool preservation in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug;
creation of the system of social-economic management for the region’s sustainable development.
