[17.11.2006]  A Teleconnection between Khanty-Mansiysk and Israel was held in URIIT
Physicians from Rabin Medical Center which is one of the world leading cancer treatment centres and Yugra physicians communicated in the on-line mode. They discussed one of the Regional Clinical Hospital patient's condition. Our specialists suspected the tumor process development. Diagnostic examination results (more than 1000 Mb of information) were transmitted to Rabin Medical Center. The communication link was provided by URIIT specialists. URIIT and Rabin Medical Center cooperate in the framework of the agreement on creation of the healthcare infrastructure and communication network in the autonomous okrug.   >>

VPN-communication was established between two GE RA600 workstations located in URIIT (Khanty-Mansiysk) and Rabin Medical Center (Petah Tikva, Israel). Results of test medical examination made by the Yugra Regional Clinical Hospital physicians (more than 1000 Mb) were transmitted from URIIT to Rabin Medical Center; the Center specialists created the report and sent it back to URIIT  >>
