The Institute took part in the VII all-Russian open conference “Modern problems of the Earth remote sensing from cosmos”, which was held in Moscow, November 16-20, Institute of space research.
Around 400 scientists including academicians from Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan participated in the conference. Modern issues of the Earth remote sensing, related to the nature conditions monitoring, sounding of a soil and plant formation, atmosphere, hydrosphere, ionosphere, cryosphere researches and application of satellite methods in geophysics and geology.
The head of URIIT sensing center V.Kopulov reported there on “Features of practical application of Sound Methods from space for environmental monitoring”. He spoke on this topic with the participants of all-Russian school of the young scientists, which was held as a part of the conference.
